Position Overview The Correctional Shift Supervisor position serves as a supervisor in IDOC facilities and is a vital position for the custody, control, and safety of all IDOC facilities. The ideal candidate should be able to manage issues and concerns of staff and individuals in custody to facilitate effective operations of the facility.  We encourage all staff that meet the minimum requirements to apply for the Correctional Shift Supervisor position. Essential Functions Plans, coordinates and directs a security force in housing and custodial services on an assigned shift.  Serves as full-line supervisor.
