The Champaign County Sheriff's Office is currently accepting applications for full-time Correctional Officers.  Essential duties include: Effectively being able to work under high-stress, high-risk situations. Safeguard detainees and renders first aid in emergency situations. Ensures the safety of the community by maintaining a secure jail facility. Process the intake and release of detainees. Understand and maintain the rights and privileges of detainees.
