Position Overview This position serves as the Director of Nursing for Decatur Correctional Center. The incumbent will work as a line supervisor to nursing staff, assigning and reviewing work, providing guidance and training to assigned staff, scheduling staff to meet day-to-day operating needs, establish annual goals and objectives. The incumbent will work with state and contractual staff and monitor the quality of care given to our patients. The Director of Nursing will assist with the monthly reports, have open communication with the Office of Health Services, assist with CQI data collection and studies, as well as audit completion.
