The Illinois Department of Corrections is seeking an Manager of Compliance for Religious Liberties. This position serves as the Department of Corrections (DOC) statewide manager over compliance implementation and training management as it relates to religious liberty protections. This individual oversees implementation of and compliance with religious liberty protections under the Illinois Faith Behind Bars Act, Faith By Plate Act, and Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act (RLUIPA) across all IDOC correctional facilities, Evaluates institutional religious services procedures for compliance with applicable policies and procedure, and Reviews allegations involving: religious discrimination, unequal treatment among faith groups, denial of accommodations, retaliation related to religious exercise. . The Illinois Governmental Ethics Act (5 ILCS 420/4A et seq.) requires certain state officials and employees to file annual Statements of Economic Interest with the Office of the Secretary of State that will be made available for examination and copying by the public. All employees required to file a Statement of Economic Interest are also required to file the Supplemental Statement of Economic Interest with the Executive Ethics Commission.
